RaceRunning Conference in Uppsala, Sweden
Last week a big RaceRunning Conference took place in Uppsala, Sweden. 125 participants from 15 different countries were gathered to learn about RaceRunning training, to participate in a course for classifiers and in general to share knowledge and RaceRunning experiences.

The training course was partly theoretical, partly practical and touched upon many various subjects such as running styles, starting techniques, coordination exercises, strength training, exercises for stretching out and how to plan the training in general.
To many of the participants all of this was completely new knowledge. All the participants also received a Coaches’ Manual for them to use back home – a training manual that comprises all these abovementioned subjects and even more.
Some of the countries present participated in order to learn the very most basic things about the sport of RaceRunning. E.g. Thailand and Somaliland that do not have any RaceRunning clubs established yet. Both countries hope to have RaceRunning established in the near future and both countries were interested in having some kind of workshop arranged in order to progress.
All in all people were greatly satisfied with the Swedish conference and we all hope that this could become a recurrent event. RaceRunning just keeps growing all over the world in these years!
